Ben Auxier of Friend Dog Studios sat down with act.land founder, Melody Stewart to discuss the importance of sincerity in acting.  No matter what genre, if your acting does not come from a real and truthful foundation, the audiences’ response will not be as good.  Their fake movie trailer, 2016:  The Movie, exemplifies their focus on sincerity, especially in satire, not only as a way of connecting with the audience, but of revealing a larger truth in the story itself.  Ben believes, as do many great actors, that while art imitates life, it also exposes our deeper truths whether of character or of story.
